Privacy
In short: no cookies, no tracking, no third-party services. What you send us through a form reaches us as an e-mail and is stored nowhere else. The legally binding version is the German Datenschutzerklärung.

2. Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When a page is requested the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested file, amount of data transferred, referrer and browser identification. This serves the secure and stable delivery of the pages (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement with IONOS is in place. Log files are deleted after the period set by IONOS.
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. Fonts and every other file are loaded from our own server; no data is passed to third parties such as Google.
4. Requests through the forms
When you send a form (evaluation, quote, contact) we process your details to answer the request: name, e-mail address, optionally company and phone, your message and, for a quote, the number of PCs, term and devices used. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time.
The form sends your details to us as an e-mail and a confirmation to you. Nothing is stored on the web server: no file, no database, no log of the input. We keep the e-mails as long as needed for the request and any resulting business relationship, and beyond that only where statutory retention duties apply.
5. Downloads
Downloading DaqFox or DaqFox-HardwareID.exe creates only the server log data described in section 2. The programs themselves make no internet connection. The hardware id reaches us only if you send it yourself; we use it solely to issue your licence.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw consent. An e-mail to daqfox@saherhassan.com is enough. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
