How the licence gets onto your PC

No account, no licence server, no internet connection on the measuring PC. The licence is a signed file that works only on the PC it was issued for.

  1. Read the hardware id

    Run DaqFox-HardwareID.exe on the measuring PC. It needs no installation and no licence.

    Go to download

  2. Send us the id

    Reply to our quote or use the form. We issue the licence for exactly that PC.

  3. Install the licence file

    You receive a .lic file with a licence key like this one:

    DAQF-7K2M-9QX4-P1LD-8ZR3

Always visible in the window

The top of the DaqFox window always shows the licence state: the expiry date, and a countdown in the last 14 days. Click it to see the licence in full. Renewing means installing a new file under Settings → Licence.

When the term ends

DaqFox then opens the licence screen instead of the console. Your Excel workbooks and every value you captured stay untouched.
